<p>this week&#8217;s show brings us a great interview with New Orleans puppeteers and fabulists the <a href="http://theblackforestfancies.com" title="the black forest fancies">Black Forest Fancies</a>, who have a historically fancy puppet show going on over at the <a href="http://www.smarttix.com/show.aspx?showcode=POM" title="buy tickets here">Blue Theater</a> right now called <a href="http://www.theblackforestfancies.com/pomologypage.html" title="pomologypage">The Pomology of Sweetness and Light</a>. they had some fascinating things to say about the art and craft of puppetry, art and life in New Orleans, the transcendentalist and agriculturalist John Chapman (aka Johnny Appleseed, the subject of their puppet show), and other divers topics.  check out their show if you get a chance!
